Nyhavn in less than 80 words

Nyhavn may be Copenhagen’s premier tourism hot spot, but standing at the raised end of the water near Kongens Nytorv and satisfyingly peering along the canal lined with distinctly coloured former sailors' houses is as special as any place I’ve visited year-round.

 

I prefer a chilly winter afternoon as the dark clouds roll over and the sun sets peacefully. The myriad of colours both naturally above and architecturally paint a picture of a harmonious and natural winters eve.
