The Most Beautiful Bridge in the World in less than 80 words

Built in 1566 during the Ottoman Empire, it connected the former capital of Hercegovina.

427 years later it abruptly became the centrepiece of a divided society.

On a glistening summer evening, the sun begins to descend. I  gaze toward the bridge from the rocks below. A diver prepares to leap.

The water of the lively green river flows rapidly. My appreciation grows. I’m lost in thought, almost divided.
